Mystérieux mycètes, une biodiversité discrète de formes et de couleurs au Musée Bernard d’Agesci à Niort

vincent Lagardère has (re)discovered mycology through photography, and offers a series of photographic portraits captured on the ground in the humus of New Aquitaine's woods and pastures. His aim is to share with you his curious, deliberately accessible and aesthetic vision of this strange reign and these curious and unusual species that are nonetheless visible on our doorstep.
Careful, slow and aesthetic observation of these tiny models also opens the door to other creatures barely visible to the naked eye, the discreet yet monstrous myxomycetes. The apparent similarities of these blobs to mushrooms in fact conceal an entirely different mode of existence, one that today fires the imagination of their observers with its surprising capabilities.
