The conference will provide an opportunity to characterize the development potential of small towns (20 to 25,000 inhabitants), based on their situation in New Aquitaine, and to extend the discussion to the regional planning initiatives undertaken in France in recent years. Lecture given by Dominique ROYOUX, Professor Emeritus of Geography at the University of Poitiers.
