From benign forgetfulness to neurodegenerative pathologies, many diseases cause memory impairment. Alzheimer's disease, the most common, affects 900,000 people in France. Today, understanding these diseases to better detect and support them is a major societal challenge. Lecture given by Céline BAUDEMONT, hospital practitioner and geriatrician at Angoulême Hospital.
