EASTERN AFRICA: La Terre en Marche II /A film by Sabina and Jérôme Bergami

2300 kilometers on foot along ancestral migratory routes, in 2019: Ethiopia, Tanzania, Malawi, Zimbabwe, crossing East Africa with a pull cart and their 20-month-old daughter on their back. In the field videos they show to the public, and often in response to the many questions they are asked, they illustrate the variety of a daily life where the unknown, discovery, courage and confidence are all intertwined. At once journalists, ethnologists and free observers, these travelers re-inform the public about the realities of the countries they pass through: local customs, water and environmental issues, food, religious rituals, unusual encounters. All of this filtered through the eyes of a couple put to the test, but who emerge from the adventure ever stronger.
