Vallée du Thouet

Between Poitou, Anjou and Touraine, the Thouet river radiates a valley made up in turn of steep slopes carved out of granite and then gentle slopes bordered by large-scale farming and quality vineyards. All these richnesses are underlined by its slope before joining the left bank of the Loire.
The Thouet river flows along a 152 km stretch and its watershed is composed of a dense hydrographic system that totals 414 km of river. The river meets numerous tributaries such as the Argenton, the Dive or the Thouaret.
