Parc Imbert
This public garden, built in terraces, offers a beautiful panorama on the valley of Thouet, and allows to discover a part of the fortifications of the medieval city. The park was formerly owned by the Imbert family. Hugues Imbert (1822-1882) was very interested in studying the history of our region and published several books. The park became public in 1946. The park allows, among other things, the City to be awarded the label Ville Fleurie 3 then 4 flowers (in 1998). This park is nowadays a popular place for a walk linking the historic center to the banks of the Thouet and the Ecomuseum of the Moulin de Crevant. Since 2014, the garden hosts an experimental garden (visits and workshops in summer, dates and rates to find in the guide "Rendez-vous" Guided tours on reservation (from 3 €)
