Le Camji

The camji. An amplifier for contemporary music.
Located in the heart of Niort town centre, the Camji is a place which is dedicated to contemporary music from 2000. There is a concert hall, a video recording studio, a bar which is open every evening when there is a concert. 2 documentary resource areas as well as two practice studios in the St Florent district.
The objectives of the project of the association :to publish the programme of the concert hall/concerts at the end of residences/café-concerts/evenings jointly organised with local associations and to make the most of local artists; to particpate in the structuring of the contemporary music scene; to develop the actions and partnerships with locals; to accompany residences, artistic projects and rehearsals, to interest different publics (youngsters, school groups, social structures, prisons .....).
