La ferme « Les Vergers de la Tête Rousse »

Created in 2021 by Aymeric Legrand, the farm "les vergers de la tête rousse" consists of orchards, a nursery and a few bee colonies. The farm is located in the commune of Saint-Loup-Lamairé. It is in its second year of conversion to organic farming. "What's original about the orchards? All the fruit trees have been grafted on site by myself, into old-fashioned varieties of apples, pears, peaches and plums. I also tested a few almond, quince, fig and apricot trees. At the same time, in anticipation of potential summer droughts, I decided to significantly reduce the number of trees per hectare and to choose trees with vigorous root systems"
