Juscorps

This small rural municipality, located in the heart of the plain, between Poitou and Saintonge, is crossed to the north by the Marmais stream and to the south by the Courance. Named for the first time in the 13th century, it belonged to the Chizé castle, then to the Marquisat de Fors. The village, grouped around its Romanesque church, completely redesigned over the centuries, today retains its agricultural vocation.
