Eglise Saint-Pierre-LOUZY

  • Eglise Saint-Pierre-LOUZY

Built in the 11th and 12th centuries by the inhabitants of Louzy, the church was on one of the pilgrims' passages of Saint Jacques de Compostela linking Fontevrault and Thouars. This explains the importance of the chapel dedicated to Saint-Jacques. Modern stained glass windows (1966), harmonize perfectly with the medieval construction and tint the church of a timeless color. Church open every day from 9h to 18h.
