A few hundred meters from Noizé, the church of Saint-Martin-les-Baillargeaux, whose architecture is dated back to the 10th-11th century, would be even older. Surrounded by an old cemetery, this church would have replaced a pagan temple. The legend tries to explain its mysterious isolation in the middle of the fields. After the ravages of the plague epidemic, as a measure of safety, we would have burned the village that would have been rebuilt further: it would be the current Noizé. Only the church Saint-Martin-les-Baillargeaux would have been spared. After being banned because of obsolescence, for about fifteen years, it was saved from ruin by some inhabitants of the surroundings. Thanks to them, the traditional pilgrimage of November resumed in 1980. Church open during the day.
