Romanesque church of the XIIth century :

The church SAINT-EUGENE de XAINTRAY is an interesting building from the last third of the 12th century where Romanesque archaisms and vocabulary of the first Western Gothic are mixed. The bell tower rests on the triumphal arch of the nave. Today it is limited to a single level pierced by six openings
You will find inside the church of SAINT-EUGENE the statue of Saint Martha, carved and polychromed wood. There are also two wash houses, the castle of Puychenin and and three dwellings to be seen on the commune of XAINTRAY.
